Taking stand up paddle board fishing to the next level
Absolutely amazing... this guy paddles out into a school of bait fish and starts casting. Not only is this the first deep sea paddle board fishing catch that we have come across, but he actually lands a STRIPPED MARLIN! Looking at the vid, you can see that Carl Schroderer is being pulled a considerable amount by this beautiful fish.
About 4 miniutes into the video, you can see the fish under the water getting tired out, but still moving the paddle board forward.
We are not sure if this is the first marlin caught while paddle board fishing, but we can say that it is a great example of how exciting the experience can be. Paddle boards are really leveling the playing field for fish around the world. Its about time we challenge ourselves by throwing a paddle board in the mix, and give those fish a chance to get the best of us... even though we have yet to find a video where the fish pulls the paddle boarder into the water.
Total unmitigated fraud....read gimmick.
You are not paddle board fishing unless you paddle to where you fish. Anything else other than paddling under your own power is contrived. Where is his paddle?
